WCW PPV : ウィキペディア英語版
List of WCW pay-per-view events
This is a list of all pay-per-view events held by World Championship Wrestling. Some of these events were started by the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions before Ted Turner acquired the promotion in November 1988 and changed the name to WCW. Pay-per-view events held in 1998 were promoted under the WCW/nWo banner.
When WCW's assets were purchased by the World Wrestling Federation, the WWF (and its subsidiary WCW, Inc.) assumed the ownership rights of the names of these events. To date WWF/E has only promoted one pay-per-view event using the name of a former WCW PPV, The Great American Bash, from 2004 until 2009. In 2012, it was rebooted as a live SmackDown special. A PPV event in 2001, Invasion, was promoted under the WWF, WCW, and ECW names as "WWF vs. WCW/ECW Invasion" but was technically a WWF sanctioned PPV.
Before WCW's buyout in March 2001, their next planned PPV, The Big Bang, was scheduled for May 6, 2001. It was expected to be the relaunch of the new WCW.
